Dorothy MartinezDorothy Martinez uses paint to ask questions and develop answers rather than coming to canvas with a pre-destined task, object, or landscape. For her, painting is a spontaneous response, an attempt to transform impulse and experience into color and shape. She strives to offer the world something it has not seen before. Once a successful floral artist, she re-directed her work to abstract expressionism and collage. Dorothy is a signature member of the National Acrylic Painters Association and her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. |
